MAKE YOUR SATURDAYS COUNT-"Well, Hello There! My name is Tom," said the elderly man as he took the aisle seat. "I'm Rich," said the man seated next to the window working on his laptop. He had so much to get done on the flight to Orlando. He hoped this old man wouldn't talk all the way there. "Planning on working during the flight?" asked Tom. "Yeah, I want to catch up on a few things before we land," said Rich. "You do know it's Saturday," said Tom. "What does that has to with anything?" asked Rich. "Work is work." "I was like that in my younger days. Worked for a big company. Traveled a lot. Missed most of my son's Little League games," said Tom with a sigh. " But when I was 55, I realized that the average person lives to be about 75. If you multiply 75 by 52, the number of weeks there in a year, you get 3,900. That's 3,900 Saturdays you can spend with your family doing things that matter. It occurred to me that I only had about a thousand of those days left." "So what did you do?" asked Rich. "I went to a toy store and brought all the marbles they had. I had to go to several stores just to get 1,000--one for each Saturday until my 75th birthday. I had marbles in jars all over my study!" "What did you do with the marbles?" "Every Saturday, I've removed one marble from a jar to remind me to make the day count. And each year, I've made a stepping -stone for my garden with the marbles that I've spent. It's amazing how quickly you go from thinking you have so much time to realizing you have so little. As a matter of fact, this is my last one," Tom said as he held up a blue marble for Rich to admire. "What will you do now?" asked Rich. "Each day we have is a precious gift. I'm going to make sure that I live each day to the fullest. The question is, what will YOU do now?" Rich looked at the marble in the palm of Tom's hand. "I think it's time to figure out how many marbles I need to buy." I just watched the movie " How to Lose A Guy in Ten Days" it was so funny and full of insight in the many ways and things a woman does to drive a man who loves her away, and I got to thinking...hmm....so that's what happened, that's where's that girl I needed in this world, the one that I find myself thinking about whenever I drink chocolate milk and cookies. What to do, what to do....Yes...I know read her magazine, so I(YES) went to the market and picked up(Don't laugh).....a copy of Cosmopolitan (alright, LOL) The July issue.....hmmm very interesting reading, had a very good laugh with my favorite cashier today at Kaz...told her I there's nothing wrong with me..just doing a little research..which brings me to one of my favorite sayings "Actions speak louder than words" and "Let your feelings do the talking" With that said, I'll watch next: " Lover Come Back" staring Rock Hudson and Doris Day-all is fair in love and advertising. And then Kevin Costner and Robin Wright in "Message In An Bottle" Joy is the feeling of grinning inside-Melba Colgrove

Don't we all wish for a month of sundays, which is why they're so special, not so much for football but for the time you spend with family and friends. Take time to give thanks to all the love that comes to you, for you are a loving person. There's a song by Al Green, that says it all: "God Is Standing By"

Wow, I'm kind of a little excited this week, I 've been trying out that new software I brought to help me promote my websites; the Directory Submitter, and it has been everything they said it was and more. Even as I write this post my website: http://LarryJ2059.BetterCreditPro.com now listed in over 200 web directories around the world and that a lot of people will be able to find my site on the web a lot easier and that I will be able to help them change their life. I fill really happy because I love nothing better in the world to help people help themselves and by providing a much needed service I would be rewarded in return. For I have other good news to share, the other day I got some very promising information from Children International about my daughter; Cyrielle Joy B. Arao ; who turns 17 on June 12th, and is doing very well in school as she tells me in her letters and I'm so proud of her. Anyway, I asked them to find out how much it cost for my daughter to go to nursing school, she told me her dream is to become a nurse because she loves to help others and so she'll be able help her parents and her younger siblings. The cost of her two-year midwifery course, which is the first step toward her nursing program is $2,891.75 gives me confidence that I will be able find at least one client a month for the next 14 months so that Cyrielle can start a new chapter in her life before she turns 19. Because I feel responsible for helping my daughter acheive her dreams, failure is not an option for me, I now have to do better than my best to insure that I continue to make an difference in her life as she has made an difference in mine, Cyrielle has allowed me to see what kind of father I would be: A VERY GOOD ONE* Dreams do come true when you believe in yourself and in others.
